Work Party

Last night Brooklyn and I went to a work party for IHC...Cowboy Shindig...(we forgot to dress up) It was lots of fun. Great people, AMAZING Food, and lots of stuff for Brooklyn to do. She got to play on a bouncer, seingsets, get her face painted, water balloons, and get a bandanna. She loved it and so so much fun, then she went off to have a sleep over with Papa and Mimi. Earlier today we went and seen Toy Story 3. It was way cute but, I still think the 1st one is the best. Way to much excitement with little nap for a little girl in one day, but she was a trooper and acted like such a big girl. Love her

Animal Cracker's...

Last night was Brooklyn's 1st dance recital!! She did so good, and I am so proud of her. It was so fun and funny to watch all the little kids dance and the attention span of them. Mommy is so proud of you Brooklyn, you worked so hard the last couple of months practicing. She got to wear makeup for the first time and she looked like a little doll face. TO cute for words. WAY TO GO!!
Thanks to all that came and supported her.

Newest Edition

We have been waiting and waiting and waiting for what seems to have been forever. We finally got our patio in. It took about 2 1/2 weeks but it is in and done and we our LOVING it!!! Brooklyn likes to ride her bike on it, we have got some beautiful planters out there now and it is so nice just to be able to relax outside without so much dirt. We are scheduled to do sprinklers, curbing, and hydroseed in 3wks and it doesn't seem it can come fast enough, I will love when Brooklyn can play outside without needing a bath, and then me needing to scrubbing bubbles it all down.
When the cement was being laid we were able to put Brooklyn's hand prints in it, she thought that was pretty cool and couldn't get enough of the truck that looked like an elephant.

Build-A-Bear

Last weeekend was Uncle Ryan's GF's little Rian's birthday party, AT BUILD-A-BEAR!!!
Brooklyn had so so much fun. She picked her little Bunny Boo, and can't get enough of it. She had only been to build a bear one other time and has been playing with that bunny a lot lately, but now this bunny tops it off. We take her everywhere, and she has to be buckled in the car with us or she is not safe.
Happy Birthday RIAN!!! We hope you had a great Birtday and thanks for inviting us!!

THANK YOU NATHAN!!!

So I have been really wanting to get a treadmill lately, but I don't want to pay alot for one. I have been searching Craigs List, KSL and looking at every online website to get the best price for the best machine. Well, I had just about given up and decided I would just wait and save some money and get a nicer one. I came home from work yesterday, and Nate and Brooklyn were late getting home. I wondered where they could be. When Brooklyn called and said we got you a suprise mommy...What? What could they have gotten, when they got home they had gotten me a much much nicer treadmill then what I had wanted and I LOVE IT so so much. It is a Reebok and has great settings, speakers, and an IPOD mount. THANK YOU SO MUCH NATHAN, now maybe I can shed some of these extra pounds I keep seeming to accumulate.
I LOVE YOU

Spike

Yesterday, Nate called me at work and said that Spike (his and Brooklyn's pet lizard-bearded dragon) didn't look good and he thought he was sick. Me, I think that thing is disgusting so I didn't have much sympathy. But, I told him if he was really that worried to take him to the vet. Today, he asked me to please keep checking on him. He called me very frequently throughout the day, when I went down to check on him he looked all shriveled and shrunk in, well I was not going to touch that thing... So I stuck a long stick in there to wiggle him a little to see if he was still alive and his little eye balls opened and I seen his back moving, I think it was like performing CPR... I checked on him lots through the day and then I decieded he would be fine, well I missed my first 2 hr check and when I went down 4 hours later, he had passed... Brooklyn called her daddy and let him know the news, they were both so upset. Tonight, we had a little funeral for him and buried him in the back yard. When Nate picked him up to put him in the box I noticed something in his mouth, I asked Nate what it was, he told me the day before he wasn't eating so he tried to force feed it, soem millworms...DISGUSTING...That thing sat in his mouth a whole day...Well Spike will be missed by daddy, brooklyn and the cousins, but by me... NOT SO MUCH...

What's the Big IDEA...

The other day, I had gotten Brooklyn some of her favorite cereal--Special K with berries... and when she had gotten down to show me what kind of drink she wanted daddy stole a bit, she turned around and caught him, hands on hip she said, "HEY WHAT'S THE BIG IDEA?"
I started laughing I thought it was hysterical, where does she come up with this stuff... Then Nate said, Ok Donald Duck and I got it... She loves Mickey Mouse club house but, I have to say she said it much cuter than Donald Duck.
